the reason why healincomfort exists…

 In Uncategorized

As a small business owner, there are days when I feel the struggle and the stress that comes along with the day-to-day…

On those days, I feel it important to take a moment to remind myself the reason why healincomfort.com exists. When we say “Helping women heal in comfort and dignity after surgery in their battle against breast cancer”, we really mean it!

Thank you for the amazing Healincomfort shirt for my friend’s mother. My prayers are with her and when she received the shirt yesterday…she cried and said how she was wanting to find a shirt like this…
THANK YOU CHERIE

Bosom Cousin, Fight Like A Girl! This was my favorite thing to wear when I got home with the drains. The shower lanyard is also great.
XOXO

I got the shirt and the belt, I’m so excited to have this for my surgery. It’s so pretty and soft and I love “Be Brave and Fight Like a Girl!!’ It makes me actually look forward to wearing it. I will have 4 drains. I will go for a walk and look for my shadow.

Hey Cherie – the nurses at Seton Williamson were blown away by the healincomfort shirts that mom wore these past couple weeks! They even handed out information to a few other patients. Mom was in for two different surgeries and had her shirts with her both times.

I loved the Heal in Comfort idea! I’m a nurse and I know that these kinds of things make a big difference to making people feel better in that healing time. Well done.

My sister has just had a mastectomy and is using your shirts. They are wonderful! She and I belong to a local chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and our chapter would like to donate two kits to a local surgeon’s office.

I wanted to Thank you so much for getting my shirts to me so fast. They are so soft & feel so yummy. All the nurses & doctors at hospital loved them too.
Everything in the kiit has made my life so much easier and I am so thankful to you and your team.
God Bless

Hi Cherie. My name is Bu…… My wife just received the package you sent with the shirt and pouch to hold her drainage tubes. I can’t thank you enough for the package and your thoughts and prayers. I am particularly moved with your Shadow Story. Ka….. and I have been married for 40 years, She actually had breast cancer the first time 20 years ago and after several consultations, elected to have a lumpectomy instead of a mastectomy and was treated with radiation. Through all of those things, this is the first time that she felt like giving up. While I have tried to convince her that 40 years together is not enough, I think your story is making a difference. Thank you

Thank you Cherie for being the big hearted, generous, compassionate and understanding heart you are.
I am so grateful you made it possible for my friend who was having a double mastectomy today to have
a Heal in Comfort Shirt kit.
She was so grateful and the nurse was very impressed, I shared your info with her.
I appreciate you and am grateful for your foresight and goal to assist all women in keeping their dignity as they traverse the gauntlet of breast cancer surgery. Thank you and bless your heart.

Dear Cherie, Just wanted you to know that I ordered your shirt for my mom last week, she received it Saturday and had her mastectomy this past Wednesday. She had looked everywhere for something to wear in Clearwater, FL and found nothing. I looked online and found your site and promptly ordered from you. She has received so many compliments from the nurses and staff and says the shirt is “Perfect”…comfy, easy to put on and the pockets make the drainage bags much more manageable. She looks forward to using the lanyard and the little apron. Thank you so much for making these available. She is passing your website information on to the nurses. Thank you thank you!

Heading home in my healincomfort shirt! Most awesome post surgery shirt EVER!!
Thank you, Cherie!! Xoxo

Catherine Marlatt Mitchell I can’t believe how much easier and more comfortable I am with my shirt for this surgery than I did without one for my first. Thank you so much for creating this!
Xoxo….

I’ve worn your wonderfully made shirt more times than I wish I had to, but was so glad to have it!
Necessity is the mother of invention and thank God for this invention from healincomfort.com.

I wore my recovery shirt that Cherie Mathews sent me from www.healincomfort.com. It had pockets for all drains which made it so nice. The nurses at the hospital loved it!!

I put the healincomfort shirt on the day I left the hospital after my double mastectomy. I loved it! The lanyard was great for showering.

Oh my gosh, you are truly an angel. Jean gave the healincomfort shirts to doctors, patients, and nurses and they all loved them as I did. You really get tired of pulling something over your head or buttoning and unbuttoning. UNC knows your shirt at their new cancer center for sure. Thanks for all your support.

I was soooo relieved to find a kit, that it made my anxiety much less. Thank you M…

Cherie Mathews’s Healincomfort got me through my double mastectomy. She is a rock star!

Surgery went well….She LOVED the shirt! It took such a worry off of her mind as she is very modest!

I can not believe that it took so long for someone to make this post-operative shirt for breast cancer patients!
I wish there was one when my grandmother had her mastectomy.

Thank god for your shirt leaving hospital yesterday! Thank you for you being you and what you have created!
