As a breast cancer survivor, Cherie B. Mathews founded healincomfort® in 2009 to help women heal in comfort and dignity after surgery in their battle against breast cancer.

Invented, created and inspired from her own post-operative experience — not being provided with the right equipment to go home in — Cherie designed this super- soft, moisture-management post-operative shirt (patented 2012) to keep the patient dry and comfortable.

healincomfort shirts are manufactured in the USA and over 400 healincomfort shirts have been gifted to Breast Cancer Centers across Texas as a way of giving back and to provide for local breast cancer patients including; St. David’s Medical Center, Conroe Regional Medical Center,
M.D. Anderson, Texas Oncology, Houston Medical Center, Lester and Sue Smith Breast Center, and
Memorial Hermann. Healincomfort believes in giving back while building her company that reaches all across the USA and even in England.

In 2010, Cherie was awarded the Small Business Entrepreneur of the Year Award by austinwoman Magazine.  She was also recognized by Cambridge “Who’s Who” for her dedication and business leadership, and was a finalist for the 2010 Fearless Woman Award from the Austin eWomenNetwork.

2012 promises to be a stand out year for both Cherie and healincomfort, and you can help! Participate in the “Gift a Shirt” program and provide Austin breast cancer patients with healincomfort shirts for same price as flowers.  Purchase a shirt today and help us make a difference. (this is a marketing expense for your company)
